Surprisingly, every single character in the game stands for a traditional ballpark food. The other team consists of hotdogs, nachos, and even soda cups, while you take on the role of peanuts. The design team's goal in using food characters was to create something significant, humorous, and immediately identifiable; the outcome was one of the Doodle's most striking features.
