What Is Among Us?

Among Us is an online multiplayer social deduction game where players work together aboard a spaceship. The crew must complete tasks while trying to identify the hidden impostors among them.

The twist? One or more players secretly play as Impostors whose mission is to sabotage the ship and eliminate crewmates without getting caught.

This mix of cooperation and deception makes Among Us gameplay exciting, unpredictable, and often hilarious.

How to Play Among Us

1. Join a Game Lobby

Players can join public or private lobbies with friends. A match typically includes 4–15 players, each randomly assigned a role.

2. Crewmates’ Objective

If you are a Crewmate, your goals are:

  • Complete tasks around the map

  • Watch for suspicious behavior

  • Report dead bodies

  • Vote out suspected impostors

If all tasks are completed or all impostors are eliminated, the crewmates win.

3. Impostors’ Objective

If you are an Impostor, your job is to secretly sabotage the crew by:

  • Eliminating crewmates

  • Creating chaos with sabotages

  • Blending in and pretending to do tasks

  • Manipulating discussions to avoid suspicion

If the impostors eliminate enough players, they win the game.

Popular Maps in Among Us

The game features several unique maps that change strategies and gameplay:

  • The Skeld – The classic spaceship map

  • MIRA HQ – A futuristic headquarters with complex vents

  • Polus – A snowy research base

  • The Airship – A large map inspired by the Henry Stickmin Collection series

Each map offers different tasks, layouts, and hiding spots for impostors.
